Our Culture

What's it like to work for us?

Building a practice from scratch has allowed us to shape who we want to be and place culture at the heart of our success. We take the transparency and trust we have with our clients equally seriously with our colleagues. Being open with each other about what’s working well and what needs to be done differently is fundamental. We want your voice to be heard and you to be able to inplement your ideas.

We have a vibrant, international and diverse team and are passionate that bringing your whole self to work will make it a great experience for you and will build a great team. We always look for you to have opportunities to be your uniquely brilliant self and get to know your colleagues on a personal as well as a professional level.

For the love of cats

Would you like to join The London Cat Clinic?

The London Cat Clinic is a unique and special place to work. Not just because we have a fabulous, purpose-built, award winning, gold-standard practice. Nor just because we have lots of cutting-edge equipment and technology so you can develop your skills. Not only because we are independent and able to do what we think is right for our patients, not just what Head Office say we have to. Nor just because we have an outstanding reputation for clinical excellence and great customer service with consistent 5* reviews.

We do have all of those things – and much more besides – but it is our incredible team which makes us stand out from the crowd. All our colleagues go above and beyond to help our patients and their caregivers. You will be joining a passionate and dedicated team, in which the front-of-house team, the nurses and the vets completely rely on each other and all work together to deliver a great experience. At The London Cat Clinic, we know the effectiveness of our whole team team together is infinitely greater than each of individual or role.

Clinical Director

We are seeking a thoughtful and visionary full-time Veterinary Clinical Director to join our leadership team and help shape the next chapter of The London Cat Clinic.

This is not your standard Clinical Director role. We’re looking for someone who sees clinical excellence not as a goal, but as a baseline. Someone who is energised by the challenge of advancing clinical excellence, inspiring others, and embedding a culture where every team member can flourish.

Locum Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for an ongoing locum to assist us with holiday cover for ad hoc days throughout the year.

The clinic sees a diverse and interesting caseload, making it an interesting stint in a very supportive environment with a wonderfully skilled team.

A love of felines is a given and we want colleagues to join us who are passionate about what they do and will treat our patients, team members and owners with the same care and attention that you would like to be treated.

We value all our team members equally and a core value is that the ‘whole is greater than the sum of its parts’. We expect you to feel the same!

Vet shifts are 10 hours, starting at 8 am, 8.30 am and 10.30 am. You will be working with a full team, including receptionists, qualified nurses and a veterinary care assistant.

You can take a tour of the practice here.

We value consistency for our clients, patients, and team. Therefore, we are seeking regular locums who are available for long-term engagements rather than block periods. If you are interested in joining our dedicated team and would like to know more, please send your CV to Emily at emily@thelondoncatclinic.co.uk

We are hardworking and take our jobs incredibly seriously – working at The London Cat Clinic is a vocation and not just a job. Being a small team in a busy and growing practice, everyone needs to muck in and help each other out. There is no room for egos, attitude or clock-watchers.
