For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved animals—especially cats. Growing up, they were always by my side, and it just felt natural that I’d spend my life helping them. Becoming a veterinary nurse was a no-brainer. It wasn’t something I ever had to think twice about—it was simply what I was meant to do.
I started out working in a small town mixed practice in New Zealand then jumped to work in referral practice, where I gained a lot of experience and learned from some incredible people. One of the highlights of my career so far has been being part of the neurology team, providing anaesthesia during brain surgeries. It was a huge responsibility—keeping a patient safe and stable through such delicate procedures—but also one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.
While I’ve loved every part of my journey, my heart has always belonged to cats. There’s just something about them—their independence, their quiet affection, the way they each have such unique personalities. That love is what guided me here, where I’m now lucky enough to focus on what I’m most passionate about: giving cats the best care possible.
Dr Rob Davis

Rob Davis is our fantastic dental specialist who works with us regularly. He is able to carry out root canal treatment. Please read below about Barolo, a patient of ours who recently needed a root canal by Rob.
Barolo is a 3 year old, Siberian Forest Cat who had a fractured upper left canine due to an injury. The pulp (nerves and vessels inside the tooth) was exposed. Once the pulp has been exposed it is unable to survive, so therefore to avoid chronic pain and eventually a tooth root abscess, the tooth must either be extracted or undergo root canal treatment. The canines are important, structural teeth which is better to preserve if possible, so Barolo’s owner opted for root canal treatment. Root canal treatment can only be carried out by a dental specialist. Rob, our dental specialist, enlarged the pulp chamber at the fracture site, then, he shaped the pulp canal with a series of special files. After this, the entire pulp canal is disinfected. Once cleaned and shaped, the canal is filled with inert natural rubber band material to ensure that the bacteria from the mouth cannot reinfect it and a filling is placed over the top. Barolo will have to visit the practice for repeat X-rays in a few months time as standard because our patients cannot let us know if they have a toothache!
It is advised that pets visit the practice for regular health checks including dental checks because as stated on the icatcare.org website, it is thought that as many as 85% of cats aged 3 and older have some sort of dental disease. Give us a call today if your pet is showing signs of dental issues such as decreased appetite which contributes to weight loss, favouring on side of their mouth when they eat, dropping their food whilst eating, pawing their mouth excessively, bad breath (halitosis), blood stained saliva and excessive drooling are just a few of the signs.
Rob is the only dental specialist in London and also a member of the British Veterinary Dental Association, so we are extremely lucky to have him as part of our team. Rob recently was a speaker at the London Vet Show where he spoke to other veterinary professionals on how to perform an oral exam and charting: what is considered normal and abnormal. We are very proud of Rob! It is fantastic that he is using his knowledge and educating others.

My journey with cats began when two stray cats appeared in our garden. They were both so gentle and affectionate that it didn’t take long before we welcomed them and later, their kittens into our home and adopted them! Caring for them opened my eyes to how unique and often misunderstood cats can be and I am so grateful to have crossed paths with them. I truly cannot imagine life without my fur babies.
That experience inspired me to work with cats, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of The London Cat Clinic. During my time here, I’ve loved getting to know so many beautiful cats and hearing their stories. When my little Tinkbell broke her leg, I was so touched by the care, patience, and respect the team showed her, as if she were their own. Their dedication to treating each cat as an individual is truly admirable, and I am proud to be part of such a compassionate team.
Please don’t be shy to pop by to ask any questions you have whether it be about the feline fine health care plan or to chat about your kitties, I would also never say no to petting your little ones!

I am a qualified veterinary professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in various practices, including a fast-paced hospital environment, which has greatly honed my skills and broadened my knowledge. I have always had a deep passion for animal care, and I now work at the London Cat Clinic, where I feel incredibly privileged to focus my expertise on feline health and well-being.
Outside of work, I’m a proud cat owner and share my home with two wonderful cats, Thierry and Freddie, who bring immense joy to my life. My love for cats drives my commitment to providing the highest level of care to every feline patient I treat, and I’m truly grateful to be able to dedicate my work to their health and happiness.

Working with animals is something people have always told me I should do, and now that I am here, it really does feel like the right fit. Since joining the team, I’ve had a lot to learn as someone still new to the role but it’s been an exciting and rewarding experience. I love challenging myself, picking up new skills, and being surrounded by people who genuinely care about what they do.
With a solid background in customer-facing roles, I’ve built a strong track record of creating positive client experiences through clear communication, empathy, and professionalism. I take pride in making people feel welcomed and supported
Outside of the clinic, I’m a cat mum to Yaw, my lively tabby who’s full of personality. Caring for him has given me a deeper appreciation for feline behaviour and helps me connect with the clients and their cats on a more personal level.

I joined TLCC in 2022, having previously worked with children in both the education and social care sectors. Moving into the veterinary world was a big change, but I’ve brought with me my passion for helping others and finding solutions when they’re needed. I truly enjoy working with clients to support their cats and find great satisfaction in seeing positive outcomes.
I’ve always adored animals—especially cats—and feel incredibly lucky to have a job where I get to meet so many gorgeous kitties! I’ve had pet cats since childhood and throughout adulthood, including senior cats with health needs that I’ve adopted. I have a deep sympathy for clients and their cats dealing with medical issues and truly understand the challenges that can come with it.
In my free time, I’m happily bossed around by a little tabby lady called Tiramisu, who loves belly rubs, Dreamies, and playing in our garden.
One of the things I love most about cats is their unique personalities. I really enjoy hearing about your pets’ funny little quirks, so please do share their stories with me when you see me at reception!

I grew up in North London and have always loved working front of house, so combining that with my passion for animals led me to a local vet practice, where I spent 13 years progressing from receptionist to Practice Manager.
I’ve been part of The London Cat Clinic family since the beginning and am proud to continue growing with the team. Over the years, I’ve completed the BVRA Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award and more recently the Diploma in Veterinary Client Care [DipNCS(VCC).
I’m passionate about delivering the best possible client experience, and I truly believe a happy client and healthy pet is the best outcome. I also have extensive knowledge of pet insurance. It may not sound thrilling, but it plays a vital role in helping owners access the care their pets need. I’m always happy to answer questions, so pop by and say hello. I love a good chat about all things feline!
I adore cuddling cats (I tried to list my favourites, but I love them all!). Outside work, I enjoy beach walks in Herne Bay, where I live, spending time with friends and family, and travelling to Orlando whenever I get the chance

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1999, after which I moved to London and worked in a variety of practices from single vet sites, to referral centres and 24 hour hospitals. In 2003 I spent two years working with a vet whose clinical standards and client care made an everlasting impression on me, Dr Jeremy Campbell.
A golden opportunity came my way in 2006 and I moved to Hong Kong to start my career in practice management. On my return, I worked as a pharmaceutical rep before moving back into management searching for the perfect practice. After nearly 17 years of trying to find a vet with the same standards as the vet I met in 2003, I am fortunate enough to be able to work with him again at The London Cat Clinic, so I am thrilled to be a part of the team.
Since starting nursing in 1996, I have always had a cat or three with me. There was a brief period in Hong Kong when I lived life without cat hair in everything, when my clothes didn’t need de-fluffing and cat litter trays didn’t live in each corner of my flat but it wasn’t the same coming home each day to a soulless flat Currently my husband and I live in South West London with two cats and I am back to de-fluffing my clothes and being woken up at 4am for food and chin rubs but I wouldn’t be without them.

From the moment I left school, I have always had a passion for working with animals, and I found that love particularly with cats. I have many years of experience working with cats within veterinary practice, and along the way have gained 4 very precious ones in my life – Ajax, Splodge, Bane, and Nimbus. Each with a special and unique story.
I believe rescue cats are the best cats to allow into your heart as they give out so much love, even when they are at their most vulnerable.
TLCC have such passionate team members who not only have their own cats but thrive on giving excellent care to all of their patients.
