Second Opinions

We provide second opinions and feline referral support for cats with complex, ongoing or uncertain health concerns.

Because we work exclusively with cats, our team has developed a deep understanding of feline medicine, behaviour and the often subtle ways cats show illness. This focused experience can provide valuable additional insight while complementing the care your usual veterinary practice is already providing.

Depending on your cat’s needs, we will:

• review their clinical history, previous test results and diagnostic images;
• provide an additional veterinary opinion;
• undertake further investigations or procedures where appropriate;
• help clarify the available treatment options; and
• provide ongoing referral support for particular aspects of their care.

We will communicate directly with your usual veterinary practice, share our findings and work collaboratively with them to help determine the most appropriate next steps.

Our aim is not to replace your usual vet, but to extend the feline expertise, facilities and support available to them, to you and, most importantly, to your cat.
