About
Veterinary Surgeon
Lucy qualified from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in London in 1994 and has worked in small animal practice throughout her career. She was awarded her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Medicine) by the RVC in 2018 and successfully completed the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Synoptic Examination in 2019.
Since 2020, Lucy has been recognised as an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine, and she was delighted to achieve re-accreditation for a further five years in 2025.
A lifelong cat enthusiast, Lucy is passionate about delivering the highest standards of feline healthcare. In a previous role, she led her practice to Gold Cat Friendly Clinic status through the International Society of Feline Medicine, reflecting her commitment to creating an exceptional experience for cats and their owners.
Lucy is thoroughly enjoying being part of The London Cat Clinic team and getting to know both her colleagues and patients. She particularly values the clinic’s advanced imaging facilities, which support a high level of diagnostic and medical care.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys swimming, cycling, running and kayaking, as well as spending time with her family. At home, she shares her life with Bob, a handsome 16-year-old ginger rescue cat who is thoroughly spoiled by the whole family. Bob has recently become something of a social media star alongside the clinic’s resident cats, and Lucy looks forward to showcasing more of the wonderful feline patients cared for at The London Cat Clinic.
