The London Cat Clinic is part of a vet-led group, VetThing, within a wider Scandinavian veterinary group called Vetopia.
This partnership reflects a clear and deliberate decision – to protect what makes TLCC unique, whilst ensuring the clinic has the support and stability to continue developing in a thoughtful and sustainable way.
What matters most is that nothing has changed in how we care for you and your cat. The same team provides the same calm, personalised, feline-focused care. We remain independently run, with full responsibility for our clinical decisions, services, and pricing. Our name, identity, and values remain exactly the same.
The partnership operates primarily behind the scenes, supporting the clinic’s long-term development without changing how we work or what we stand for.
It also enables continued investment in our team, our facilities, and the care we provide – strengthening our ability to deliver the highest standards of feline medicine, both now and in the future.
The London Cat Clinic means a great deal to me, and my commitment to the clinic, our team, and our patients remains unchanged. This structure allows us to continue doing what we do best – for many years to come.

We know that news like this can raise questions. What matters most to us is that you feel informed, comfortable and reassured about what this means for you and your cat.
No. You will see the same familiar team, receive the same high level of care, and experience the same calm, feline-focused approach you know and trust. Our name remains the same, and so do our values. We continue to be Committed, Accountable, Trusted and Striving for Excellence (CATS) – principles that guide everything we do.
Yes. Our team is at the heart of The London Cat Clinic. Continuity of care is incredibly important to us, and we will always do our very best to ensure you see the people who know you and your cat best.
We have joined a vet-led group called VetThing, but we remain independently managed and locally run. We continue to make our own decisions about our team, our services, our pricing, and most importantly, how we care for your cat.
Not at all. We continue to take full responsibility for all clinical decisions, treatments, and the way we care for your cat.
Yes. Treatment plans, medications, prescriptions, and follow-up care remain our responsibility, just as they always have.
We believe in being open and transparent with our clients. This is a positive step for the clinic, and we wanted you to hear about it directly from us, with clarity and reassurance.
The London Cat Clinic is a unique practice, and preserving that uniqueness was central to our
decision.
This partnership allows us to protect what makes TLCC special – our clinical standards, our culture, and our feline-focused approach — while also giving us the support and investment to continue growing thoughtfully.
It provides us with the resources to further develop our facilities, equipment, and services over time, without compromising how we work or what we stand for.
No, traditional corporates are controlled by external investors. VetThing/Vetopia is majority owned by the vets who work within it and we keep full decision-making at practice level. VetThing’s ethos is to embrace uniqueness and support practices like ours, not change them.
These will continue to be managed by our team here at TLCC, just as they are now.
We remain fully responsible for treatment plans, medications, prescriptions, and follow-up care, ensuring complete continuity for your cat.
No. Maintaining this was a key part of our decision. We continue to run the clinic in the way we believe is right for our patients and clients.
No – we continue to set our own pricing, based on what we believe is fair and sustainable. As always, we will communicate any price changes to you transparently as we have in the past.
