About
Veterinary Nurse
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved animals—especially cats. Growing up, they were always by my side, and it just felt natural that I’d spend my life helping them. Becoming a veterinary nurse was a no-brainer. It wasn’t something I ever had to think twice about—it was simply what I was meant to do.

I started out working in a small town mixed practice in New Zealand then jumped to work in referral practice, where I gained a lot of experience and learned from some incredible people. One of the highlights of my career so far has been being part of the neurology team, providing anaesthesia during brain surgeries. It was a huge responsibility—keeping a patient safe and stable through such delicate procedures—but also one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

While I’ve loved every part of my journey, my heart has always belonged to cats. There’s just something about them—their independence, their quiet affection, the way they each have such unique personalities. That love is what guided me here, where I’m now lucky enough to focus on what I’m most passionate about: giving cats the best care possible.
